Bean Derivation

The concept of bean derivationbean derivation makes it easy to change properties for special bean instances in an eva/3 Application Builder project.

To define a bean derivation, drag a bean from the toolbar or designed form or report into the derivates table. The instantiation of a bean derivation is similar to the instantiation of the original bean. The properties of a bean derivation are the default properties of each instantiation bean derivation.

The bean derivation are visible from the eva/3 Application Builderproject. If a property, of a bean derivation is changed, all instances will be loaded relative to the changed value. If an bean derivation instance did not differ on the old bean derivation property value, the new value will be applied to that bean derivation instance. A already loaded bean derivation instance will not be changed in a property, when a bean derivation property is changed.
