Editing a Form

By doubleclick on a form in theNavigaton view, the form editor opens (s. fig. 113 ).

In the Design view, the individual Panels are divided by lines (s. fig. 114 ). Their size can be changed in the Properties dialog

From the Beans dialog, the Beanscan be inserted into the Panels by Drag & Drop.

In the component tree dialogue the individual elements can be selected so that the appropriate properties can be edited in the Properties dialog. That means the beans, the panels and also the form itself.

The Beans and the Panelscan also be selected by clicking them in the design window. By holding the Ctrl key, several elements can be selected. The selected elements can be pooled in groups by the Groups dialogue.

By the menu entry Extras->Preview the preview of the form will be available (s. fig. 115 ).

Preferences the form editor can be set in the eclipse Preferences and in the Preferencesdialog.
