By double click on a report in the Navigator view, the Report Editor opens (s. fig. 210 ).
The several Panels are displayed in the Design window separated by the green areas. By moving the areas with the mouse, the size of the Panels are changed.
The Beans are inserted in the Panels by Drag & Drop from the Beans .
In the Component tree dialog, the several elements, that means apart the beans and the several panel also the report itself, can be selected to change the according pr´operties in the Properties dialog.
The Beans and the Panels can be selected by clicking them in the Design Window. By holding the key, several elements can be selected. The selected elements can be pooled in groups by the Groups dialogue.
Settings for the Report editor can be made in the Eclipse Preferences and in the PreferencesdDialog .
