Upload an Update

An update can be started by clicking the eclipse menu File > Export (s. fig. 276 ).

Now the export wizard eva/3 upload can be selected and confirmed by using the Next button (s. fig 12).

The following information's are needed for an update.

Update name	The name for this update
License name	The licenses of applications that can read this update
Release date	The date since the update is available
Urgency date	The date from which the update should be installed
Resource project	Folder for resources that should be written relative to the application working directory
Update connection	The connection descriptor of the update connection
Scripts for an application database	The .sql scripts that should update an application database
Comment	A comment for this update. this information is optional

The update becoming inserted into the update database by clicking the Finish button. Now the update is available for applications (s. fig. 277 ).
